Handicare strives for continuous product improvement, with a particular focus on quality and safety. To ensure our products meet the highest international quality and safety standards, they are tested by recognized test institutes like TNO, TÜV and Handikapp Institut. Depending on local requirements, additional tests may be conducted.

Moreover, Handicare is actively involved in European legislative normalisation, through participation in, for instance, the Dutch NEN wheelchair commission, the EN revision work group and the British Health Trades Association. These efforts are, of course, reflected in our product development activities.

The safety of the people who use our products is our first priority. Therefore, Handicare follows a strict incident procedure, which has been reviewed by the Dutch Health Inspection.
